CES customers have raved for decades about the simplicity, the superb water quality, and the affordability of our Pulsar Tablet Feed systems.They like the fact that the All-In-One chemistry provides perfect water BALANCE, including all the chlorine, calcium, alkalinity, and stain prevention needed, while using 1/10th the acid of bleach systems. They also like the fact that most of these pools have NEVER had to be resurfaced, and the pool finish looks good as new.
Some have asked if they were “running them right”, and also asked if we could help them tweak their operation so they could clean them less often. Many have reached or are looking to reach a minimal monthly maintenance goal to align with the rest of their equipment room gear. This is a piece of cake.
After successfully working with a few customers, we thought it might be a good idea to pass this info along… so that we could help any other folks that were interested. The program is really a 4-step approach, and each step can be completed independently, one-at-a time, until maintenance is optimized. Here is a quick recap of the steps which our field team will gladly work with you on a one-on-one basis for each application to help adapt, it depending on the age and model of feeder.
Step One: Simple stuff. Are the components all still in the proper place, are the cleaning nozzles intact or need to be tweaked, etc? Are the booster pump and venturi settings correct? Are we properly filling the feeders? Over-filling is unnecessary and can be counter productive. This first step usually greatly extends the cleaning cycles as some newer operators might not have received full training, while others had inadvertently altered the system in some form over the years.
Step Two: Upgrade to newest programs and features. The newest spray feeders (Models P45-P140-P500) with wall mounted control boxes have been tweaked several times with
software updates and new wash-down hardware. While we sent out info and blog posts, we have not reached everyone yet.
These upgrades are simple to install and you can monitor improvements before deciding if any additional steps are needed.
Step Three: The factory announced the introduction of a MRS (Maintenance Reduction System) which pre-treats the water entering the Pulsar to help keep the feeder cleaner, longer. It works great. CES will handle the full installation of the MRS system and provide technical support throughout the process. Field tests have show an improvement to a 45-minute cleaning every 90 days.
Step Four: Upgrade to the newest technology. When Spray Technology was first introduced decades ago, we hailed it as a great improvement of the previous PPI (Periodic Partial Immersion) technology it replaced. After spending millions in research and development on the plant and feeders….the factory is proud to announce the next generation of feeders that are based on HCE (High Capacity Erosion) Technology. The Infinity Feeders have been virtually maintenance-free since their introduction in 2017, while the new Precision Feeder will surely make a lot of friends.
