They are a drop-in replacement for some other competitive pumps, so you may not need to re-plumb the entire system when you upgrade to the JCP.
One of the first JCP customers recently commented that his chemical feeder was louder than the JCP pump, and that it was running so efficiently that it was attaining DOH-required flow rate with only 38% of normal power on a clean filter.
